“Upon this common ground we stand committed. All of the efforts of Narcotics Anonymous are inspired by the primary purpose of our groups.” WSC 2018
“Finding common ground takes talking and time. Some of us are more articulate than others. We work hard to hear each other and to help each other express ideas. We show patience, encouragement, and gratitude to our fellows for their involvement, and remember that no voice is greater than any other. We never know where answers will come from or what new solution we might find together.” Guiding Principles: The Spirit of Our Traditions, Tradition One

WORKING THROUGH THE CAR
Groups can work through the CAR and, as a group, vote either Yay, Nay, or Abstain on all the motions. The Group’s GSR presents the results of its Group Conscience on thsee motions at the March 2018 ASC meeting. The Ohio RCM (Regional Committee Member) compiles the results of each of the tally sheets to determine what the Central Ohio Area Group’s vote is on each of the motions, and reports that to the Ohio RD (Regional Delegate). The Ohio RD compiles the results of all the Areas in the Ohio Region and then carries the will of the Ohio Region to the WSC (World Service Conference) at the end of April.
