The Public Relations Subcommittee’s purpose is to increase awareness and credibility of the NA program, following the traditions of Narcotics Anonymous. NA PR members share the NA message openly with the public at large, with prospective members, and with professionals. Maintaining an open, attractive attitude in these efforts helps to create and improve relationships with those outside the fellowship. Establishing and maintaining a commitment to these relationships, can help us to further our primary purpose.

The Public Relations Subcommittee is actively working with correctional leadership and incarcerated individuals to build strong relationships and expand access to NA resources. Through this collaboration, we are providing NA literature directly on facility tablets and creating new opportunities for incarcerated members to participate in PR service. We are also piloting virtual NA meetings within correctional institutions to further support connection and recovery. If you are interested in getting involved or learning more, please reach out to the PR Subcommittee.
Join the Outreach Subcommittee by contacting the Subcommittee Chair and attending the next meeting. Visit the Area Service Committee page for Chair contact details and meeting information.
